The Bubble Coral is a large polyp stony (LPS) that has a green or white-ridged skeleton that can be seen when the polyps are deflated. The large fleshy polyps will cover the entire skeleton when inflated, and are green, white, or creamy yellow in color. Bubble Coral do have sweeper tentacles that can harm other corals that are within reach.
The Bubble Coral should be provided a moderate level of lighting combined with low to moderate waterflow in the aquarium. If there is too much water flow the coral will not be able to expand fully. The polyps are fragile and are easily punctured, so carefully handle them by the skeleton. The Bubble Coral will benefit from additional food fed weekly in the form of micro-plankton and brine shrimp.
