Blue Linckia Starfish are also called the Comet Sea Star, Blue Sea Star, and Blue Starfish. On the bright blue body of this starfish it may have red or purplish spots. The Blue Linckia Starfish stands out in any aquarium setting.
The Blue Linckia Starfish is usually solitary but will tolerate other starfish and peaceful community fish. This starfish is one of the hardest to keep because of its intolerance to changes in the pH, temperature, and salinity. The drip acclimation process is highly recommended for all sea stars due to their intolerance of change in water chemistry.
Blue Linckia Starfish should only be introduced to a well established aquarium so very little needs to be done to supplement them. In an aquarium setting, small pieces of clam meat or tablets can be placed under the starfish to supplement its diet.
