The Black Saddleback Clownfish are sometimes referred to as the Saddleback Clownfish. They have a dark brown to almost black body with a wide white stripe behind the eye, another on the middle of the back, which slants backwards slightly, which gives the appearance of a white saddle.
The Black Saddleback Clownfish tends to be a little less aggressive and territorial than other members of the clownfish family. This fish will benefit from a host anemone. They may form relationships with the following species of anemones; Carpet, Sebae, and Ritteri.
The Black Saddleback Clownfish diet consists of meaty foods and herbivore preparations. Offer mysis shrimp quality flake food and dried seaweed fed with a veggie clip.
