The Bala Shark, also known as the Silver Shark, is a good addition for a semi-aggressive aquarium. It is one of the more passive freshwater sharks. The Bala Shark has a metallic silver body with yellow and black dorsal and caudal fin.
A large aquarium with driftwood, rocks, and spots of dense vegetation is required. The Bala Shark does best in small groups of three or more, as they often prefer to be in schools.
The Bala Shark is an omnivore and is not a finicky eater. Flake food, freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, and a vegetable-based food should be fed.
